What Is a 921/T15 LED Bulb?
A 921 LED bulb is a compact, single-function automotive bulb commonly sold as a T15 LED bulb. T15 describes its approximate bulb size and wedge-style design, while 921 is the bulb number. W16W is another common reference for the same standard bulb type.
A standard 921 bulb socket accepts a W2.1x9.5d push-in wedge base. The original incandescent bulb is commonly rated at 12.8V and 16W. A 921/T15 LED bulb uses less power, so it does not need to match the original 16W rating.
What Are 921 LED Bulbs Used For?
A 921 reverse light bulb produces white light when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. It is also used in selected interior and cargo lighting positions.

Standard 912 and 921 bulbs share the same basic T15 wedge format. The main difference is their original power and light output.
